Updated Financial Statements on Bankrupt Companies

Bankrupt publicly traded companies are not relieved of their SEC related financial reporting requirements.  However, the SEC generally will accept the monthly reports a public company must file with the Bankruptcy Court in lieu of their quarterly and annual reports (Form 10-K and Form 10-Q) respectively.  The company must file each monthly report with the SEC using Fom 8-K within 15 calendar days after the monthly report is due to the Bankruptcy Court.
