Ten Tips about Online Credit Training Programs

At some point, online training may not have been especially good at delivering time-sensitive, useful information.  Times change.  Online training provides valuable information, and help attendees to improve their core skills in credit and collections.  Here are ten reasons to consider using online training regularly:

  1. Online webinar programs are low cost and multiple employees can receive training for the single price of admission to the webinar
  2. Online training means no travel time and no travel costs
  3. Online training involves short, focused presentations
  4. There are now a broad selection of topics for credit professionals being offered by several different NACM affiliates meaning that companies can identify programs that meet their specific training needs
  5. Webinars usually provide time for attendees to ask the expert.  This means that nagging questions will be answered by a subject matter expert – all for the cost of admission
  6. Online training is stress free because it is convenient and low pressure
  7. There are enough webinar training programs now for credit professionals that attendees can select training programs that work best with their work schedule
  8. Since multiple NACM affiliate organizations offer online training and because every association wants to continue to offer new programs, suggested topics from members are always welcomed
  9. Online programs almost always include take-aways meaning PowerPoint presentations or other documentation that can be used by attendees after the training as a reference tool
  10. Many associations offer members the option of private webinar programs involving only their employees and the presenter.  These programs are more interactive, and can be tailored to the needs and interests of the company and its employees attending the training program
