Subsequent Events

In accounting, a subsequent event is a change occurring after the end of the fiscal year that has a material effect on the company’s valuation or profitability. A subsequent event is an event occurring after the end of the fiscal year but before the financial statements are issued. In accounting, subsequent events provide additional evidence about conditions that existed at the fiscal year end.
