Check Acceptance

The check should be pre-printed with the name and address of the firm.

  • Verify that the name, address and telephone numbers are current.
  • Verify that the name/address appearing on the check is the same name/address that appears on the order.
  • If the name on the check is not the same as on the order, write the name on the order on the face of the check.

Do not accept temporary or counter checks (check without a pre-printed name and address). Do not accept two party checks (checks made payable to our client that he intends to sign over to your company).
